"I am an activist and human rights advocate who works as an advisor with the National Human Rights Task Force. I joined Daughters of Africa after attending the organization's Anti-racism workshops series which began in March and ended in May. After learning more about the powerful goals of the amazing female leaders that represent the organization, I wanted to join and collaborate with them, I am very honoured to be a member."

"I became a member because DoARC's goals were aligned with the work I did in sub-Saharan Africa and my 20+ years of experience working in African educational institutions. In 2018, I joined the Board of DoARC as its Program and Finance Director and i'm happy to see DoARC's growth to include services related to finding good employment and anti-racism training. More than that, getting together with African-descent women - no matter how long they've been in Canada - is always great fun!"
