WHO AM I in the Canadian Multicultural Landscape? - March 4 - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
The Series will kick off with celebrations for International Women’s Day celebrating the theme of “#EMBRACE EQUITY 2023” and celebrating the many notable Saskatchewan and Canadian African-descent women who have paved the way for others.
Moving Beyond Racism and Discrimination: Strategies for Success in the Workplace - March 25 - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
A variety of speakers will focus directly on impacts of racism in employment including information on labour laws and other areas where discriminatory practices, including religious discrimination, can be experienced.
Youth Spotlight - April 15 - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
This workshop will shine the spotlight on young people aged 18-35 by looking at their particular experiences.
Leadership in Anti-racism Action - May 6 - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Facilitators and speakers will guide this workshop. It will combine "learnings" from the first three workshops to produce a series of recommendations for future programming, policy, or training options. Enhancing leadership skills in anti-racism action will be supported. We need to hear from you!
